The space of a new building (part "B"), in a shell state, with a scientific and educational function, was developed. The idea of the center is to create opportunities for students and medical staff to gain knowledge and experience in conditions as close to real ones as possible. The project includes high-fidelity spaces, such as intensive care rooms, operating rooms, delivery rooms, treatment rooms, emergency rooms, doctor's offices and hospital rooms.
Laboratory and teaching zones were proposed on six floors. On the ground floor, a zone was designed for the Air Ambulance Service with simulation rooms, offices and exercise rooms, as well as examination rooms for students. The first floor houses the Department of Immunopathology of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and the Department of Experimental Physiology and Pathophysiology.
The Department of Medical Genetics is located on the second floor. The third floor houses the public area, offices and laboratories. There are three functions on the top floor - the Translational Pharmacy Center, the Experimental Medicine Laboratory and the catering function. There is a recreational space for employees on the roof in the form of a terrace. All zones have appropriate social and hygienic facilities.
