The new building of the hospital complex was designed as a continuation of the existing buildings. The volume filled the empty corner between two existing buildings. A number of challenges were encountered during design.

From those in the urban context, such as the restrictions of the local law, fitting into the context while respecting the monument, connecting three buildings built in different years, different styles and with different storey levels, to creating a functional system that unites the existing and designed spaces.

As a result, a design was created that meets the needs of the hospital and is visually impressive. The new structure was designed as the main, modern element closing the block and complementing the existing urban design of the hospital complex.

As a result, an arrangement was created that met the needs of the hospital and was visually impressive. The new structure was designed as the main, modern element closing the quarter and complementing the existing urban layout of the hospital complex.

On the ground floor, in the new and existing part, there will be a Hospital Emergency Department. The ambulance ramp is located within the building. Part of the ground floor of the historic building was redesigned as an emergency room with a new, independent entrance and driveway. On the first floor of the new building there is an Orthopedic and Trauma Department with 28 beds. On the second floor there is a Gynecological Department with 25 beds.
